This summer, second chances start with a single knock at the door

Welcome back to Hideaway Wharf and to A Season of Second Chances!

What better place for a fresh start than a tenacious, close-knit island that survives the Pacific’s battering storms and swells? The small community of Hideaway Wharf represents different beginnings for Lawson and Clara. Lawson is on a quest to mend the harm he caused five years ago when he jilted his fiancée and walked out on his business partner. Clara, a newcomer who’s renting the other half of Lawson’s beachfront duplex, is facing being an empty nester at thirty-nine. Oyster Island is her opportunity to say yes to herself. But all her yeses draw her into the path of the island’s prodigal brewmaster and the two preschoolers suddenly in his care.

As the new guardian to his college roommate’s twin daughters, Lawson is determined to build a solid foundation for his instant family. For him, that will mean remaining single—a necessary sacrifice to establish the stability the grieving twins need. But Clara shakes up his determination to shelve romance indefinitely. Her kind generosity fills his emotional well while he fumbles with the basics of raising children he never expected to have. And with all their island adventures come his ultimate opportunity for redemption and her biggest possibility of yes—a chance at love!

And good news – this one should be on the shelves at Walmart, as well as other retailers that carry Harlequin Special Edition. I’m excited, as I want to make sure it’s easy for you to find Clara and Lawson’s romance.

Happy reading!
